Geraldine Williams Dean

Mrs. Geraldine Williams Dean, 78, of 6322 Maple Springs Road, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Welch officiating. Burial will follow at House of Hope Church Cemetery in Lexington. A native of McDowell County, WV, Mrs. Dean was born August 20, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Sam Gordon Williams and Mary Lou Vettive Williams. She was retired from Dixie Furniture and she enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Dean, and her son, Larry Dean. Mrs. Dean is survived by her daughters, Patsy Salyers, of the home, Nancy Casey, of Asheboro, Evelyn Parham, of Randleman; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home
