George E. Stidham

George Edwin Stidham, 85, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. At his request, no services are scheduled. A native of Pound, VA., Mr. Stidham was born October 11, 1930, the son of the late Henry and Mary Stidham. He had worked at Harrellson Rubber Mfg. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels, and playing the guitar. Mr. Stidham was a veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. Survivors his include his wife, Margie C. Stidham, of the home; son, John E. Stidham, of Little Rock AR; sisters, Coma Tiller, of Abingdon, VA, Carol Seifred of Wise, VA; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
