George Wilson Parson

George Wilson Parson, Jr., 79, of Asheboro, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at his home. A private memorial service will be held. Born in Randolph County, NC on July 16, 1937, Mr. Parson was the son of the late George W. Parson, Sr. and Virginia Mae Walden Parson Belo. He was retired from Asheboro Plumbing and Heating. He was a member and Past Master of the Oakland Masonic Lodge #501 and a former Boy Scout leader. Surviving are his daughter, Tymia Parson McMasters (Toby), of Asheboro; Kenrick Parson (Victoria), of Liberty; special friend, Evelyn Rodman, of Asheboro; stepfather, Phil Belo, of Randleman; sisters, Phyllis Parson Balfour, Gwen Parson Green (Roger), all of Randleman; brother, James Phillip Parson (Bo), of Randleman; stepbrother, Ty Belo, of Randleman; special Masonic lodge brothers, Harold Isbell, Les Green, both of Asheboro; hunting buddy, "Pee Wee" Goins; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
