Genevieve Moore Mcleod

Genevieve Gayle Moore McLeod, 78, of Seagrove, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2016, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Judy Beane and Rev. Joe Beane officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born April 27, 1937 in Poquoson, VA, Mrs. McLeod was the daughter of the late James and Amanda Moore. She was a homemaker. Surviving are husband, Odell McLeod of the home; daughters, Barbara Gayle Potts and husband, Maxton, Amanda Gayle Stevens and husband, Scott, all of Seagrove; sons, Randy McLeod, Jr. and wife, Ann of Star, James McLeod of Greensboro, Eddie McLeod and wife, Pam of Seagrove; sister, Estelle Spicer of Hampton, VA., eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
