Geneva Jarrell Brown

Geneva Elizabeth Stout Jarrell Brown, 92, of Asheboro, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Geneva was born on July 18, 1927, in Randolph Co., to the late Clifford Stout and Della Cox Stout. She retired from Kaiser-Roth. She was founding member of Foster Street Wesleyan Church and a current member of Rushwood Church. She taught Sunday School for 24 years. Geneva also enjoyed drawing and painting. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Jarrell; second husband, Cleo Brown; two brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Hilda Hartshorn and husband Robert of Asheboro, Glenda Little and husband Roger of Seagrove; son, Maxton Jarrell and wife Kyong of Newport News, VA; sister, Golda Burris of Ramseur; brother, Ondra Stout of Ramseur; grandchildren, Melodi Miller, Bryan Garner and wife Stacey, Jonathan Garner and wife Candice, Scot Little and wife Tracy, Chrissy Neelon and husband Chris, Suzanne Bryant and husband Jonathan, Margeaux Neff and husband Manny; and 18 great grandchildren. Due to restrictions on group gatherings, the service will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407, or since Geneva loved flowers, send flowers to someone special in your life.
