Gene Brown

Therman Eugene "Gene" Brown, 76, of Asheboro, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. No services are scheduled at this time. Born May 16, 1940 in Randolph County, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Therman and Bronna Brown. He graduated from Wingate Junior College and later from Campbell University with a degree in Business Administration. He was the owner of Gene Brown Accounting which he started in 1970. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Brown was a former Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Baker Brown; sons, Ryan Baker Brown and Evan Baker Brown; brother, William Davis Brown; nephew, Williamjosh Leabres Brown; niece, Lindsay Leabres Brown; and uncle, Virgil Lee Brown.
