Gayle White Harllee

Gayle Harllee, age 58, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida passed away on September 24, 2018 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. She was born on December 27, 1959 in Miami, FL and grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina where she graduated from Asheboro High School. After high school she attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she received her bachelor's of arts degree. In 1996 she moved back to Florida to Ponte Vedra Beach, where she attended St. Johns River State College and received her nursing degree. Gayle went to work at Vicars landing as a nurse for many years, where she was very much loved and appreciated. She enjoyed the beach, riding her scooter and cooking. Gayle had a contagious laugh and personality and a beautiful soul. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Harllee; sons, Michael Lee Gibson (Ashley), Christopher Blake Gibson; mother, Ruth Allen; grandson, Easton Gibson; granddog, Arlo Harllee; sisters, Donna Ward, Joan Bobo, Sandy Snodgrass; family friend, Thomas Glencross.
