Garry W. Hill

Garry Wayne Hill, 55, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Asheboro. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Poindexter. Mr. Hill was born April 16, 1963, in Randolph Co., NC. He was witty, a comedian, easy going and good hearted who never met a stranger. Mr. Hill was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Hill; two stepchildren; mother, Fannie Smith Moore; father, Harvey Alexander Hill; sister, Sherry Hill Dunn; brother, Harvey Hill, Jr.; stepbrothers, Jerry Osborne, Robby Osborne, Allen Parks; two step-grandchildren; several special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Fannie Smith Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204; or to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 6220 US Highway 220 Business South, Asheboro, NC 27205.
