Garnet Maxine Williams Higginbotham, 85, of Asheboro, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 surrounded by her family at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Ben Chavis officiating. Born September 29, 1930 in Notomine, WV, Mrs. Higginbotham was the daughter of the late Enos and Delilah Williams. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Mrs. Higginbotham attended Freedom Life Church of God when her health permitted. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Higginbotham was preceded in death by her husband, Olis D. McHenry; and granddaughter, Nicole Higginbotham. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Morgan and husband, Frank, of Ohio, Theresa Gail "Stormy" Miller and wife, Callie Cox, of Barberton,OH; sons, Roy Shane Higginbotham and wife, Kathy, of Asheboro, Troy Lane Higginbotham and wife, Kate, of Orlando, FL, Forrest Higginbotham and wife, Kelli, of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Janet Phalin of Cabin Creek, WV; grandchildren, Kendall Morgan, Jeremy Miller and wife, Mindy, and the "Ghetto Park Gang", Ashley Higginbotham, Matthew Higginbotham, Garrick Colason, Michael Colason, Kenneth Colason; and 10 great-grandchildren.
