Gail Norris

Gail Wilson Norris, 74, of Randleman, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017, at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kim Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born October 17, 1942 in Wilson County, Mrs. Norris was the daughter of the late James and Thelma Wilson. She was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Norris had worked for Vestal Motor Company and First National Bank (Community One). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stewart Norris; grandson, Daniel Norris; brother, James Wilson; and sister, Jean Stott. Mrs. Norris is survived by her daughters, Debbie Norris Lanier (Paul) of Winston-Salem, Julie Norris Jones of Asheboro; son, James Norris (Connie) of Asheboro; brother, Earl Wilson (Janice) of Black Creek; daughter-in-law, Cindy Norris of Asheboro; sister-in-law, Sylvia Wilson of Wilson; brother-in-law, Guy Stott of Wilson; grandchildren, Jennifer Norris, Luke Jones, Tyler Jones, Kaylyn Lanier and Paul Lanier, V; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday at First Assembly of God Church, prior to the service.
