Fred Alton Freedle, 80, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Jody Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Freedle was born April 14, 1935, a son of the late Harrison and Ethel Yates Freedle. He was retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and attended Bethel Baptist Church. On July 31st, 1979 he was married to India Casey Freedle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Freedle was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Terry and Odell Freedle; and a sister, Carlene Freedle Leonard. He is survived by his wife, India Casey Freedle of the home; daughters, Lasea Freedle of the home, Susan Thomas of Cameron, and Jane Freedle of Denton; sons, Ryan Freedle of Raeford, Rodger Freedle of Level Cross, Ricky Freedle of Asheboro, Alton Freedle of Lexington and Roger (Gene) Yearians, Jr. of Asheboro; granddaughters, Montana Levine of Tazewell, VA, and Jessica Summey of Raleigh; a grandson, Terry Plowman of Denton; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Coy Freedle of Lexington; and three sisters, Peggy Parrish and Barbra Asbury, both of Lexington and Linda Shore of Denton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the church, prior to the service and other times at the home.
