Franklin Duval Clegg

Mr. Franklin "Frankie" Duval Clegg, 62, of Biscoe, NC, died Thursday, August 1, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:30 pm Sunday, August 4, 2013, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Lewis Liles Cemetery in Biscoe. A native of Montgomery County, NC, Mr. Clegg was born March 19, 1951. He was the son of the late James William Ledbetter and Betty Ernestine Clegg. Mr. Clegg was a faithful employee of Grede Foundry in Biscoe, was a member of Hoods Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, and attended Glory of God Outreach Ministries. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clegg was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Clegg Walden and Clara Foster Clegg. Mr. Clegg is survived by his daughter, Sherry Renee Clegg, of Asheboro, NC; sister, Martha Clegg, of Biscoe, NC; brother, Donald Clegg and wife, Beverly, of Biscoe, NC, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Donald Clegg, 311 Butler Street, Biscoe, NC.
