Frankie 'David' Sparks

Frankie "David" Sparks Sr., 74, of Asheboro, went to his heavenly home, March 5, 2020, after passing peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. David was born June 25, 1945 in Surry Co., NC, to the late Willard and Chalma Sparks. David was a veteran from the US Army where he proudly served his country. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his older brother, Jerry Sparks. David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ann Sparks of the home; sons, Frankie David Sparks Jr. and wife Michelle of Gibsonville, William Sparks and wife Hannah of the home, David was a loving grandfather to Colt and Amber and great grandfather to Bellamy; brother, Ronnie Sparks and wife Jackie of Lexington; sister-in-law, Barbra Auman and husband Michael of Seagrove; and brother-in-law, Greg Hayes and wife Maggie of Level Cross. In respecting David's request, there will be no service at this time. The family will receive close friends at their home. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Community Home Care and Hospice, and hospice nurse, Denise.
