Francis Charles Teeter, 75, of Sophia, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Francis was born in Fairport NY on February 28, 1942, to the late John Thurlow Teeter and Adeline Scott Teeter. He grew up in Macedon, NY and later resided in Clyde, NY for many years. He had a love for horses, traveling, the outdoors, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He retired from Mobile Chemical/Huntsman Plastics after working there for 32 years. He was currently residing in Sophia, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Helen Rogers, his second wife, Linda Hill Teeter; and brother, Jay Teeter. Surviving are his daughters, Kimberly Davis and husband, Tim of Sophia, Connie Palmer and husband, Ed of Lyons, NY; sons Charles Teeter and wife, Machelle of Fulton, NY, Patrick Teeter of Fulton, NY; sisters, Shirley, Alean, Claudia, Adeline, Marlene and Gale; brothers, Marvin, Leroy, Jerry; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
