Frances Louise Mcneill

Frances Louise McNeill, 89, of Sophia, NC, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hunt and Jason Hulin officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Seagrove, NC. Born March 27, 1929 in Randolph Co., NC, Mrs. McNeill was the daughter of the late Vernon and Janette Bulla Gordon. She was retired from Black & Decker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Jefferson McNeill; son, Ricky McNeill; daughter, Linda Janette McNeill; granddaughter, Amanda Louise McNeill; brothers, Edsel Gordon, Maxton Gordon and Donald Gordon. Mrs. McNeill is survived by her children, Louise Elrod and husband, Darrell, of Asheboro, Lynn McNeill and wife, Grace, of Asheboro, Debra Hulin and husband, Harold, of Lexington, Sharon McNeill, of Asheboro, Terry McNeill, of Asheboro; sister, Barbara Gordon Hinson, of Randleman; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Thursday, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service.
