Fern Beane Miller

Fern Beane Miller, 95, of Asheboro, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. She is rejoicing with the angels today, always trusting and believing in the Lord. Born on April 14, 1924, in Randolph County, NC, Fern was the daughter of the late Thomas and Malissie Beane. She graduated from Seagrove High School and retired from Elastic Therapy. Fern was a member of Brower's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a very giving person who always thought of others before herself. In addition to her parents, Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Roy Miller. Surviving are her sons, Tommy Miller and wife Barbara of Asheboro, Walter Miller and wife Lola of Frienswood, Texas; daughter, Malissie Ann Miller of Asheboro; grandsons, Lee Miller and wife Jennie of Asheboro, Wesley Miller and fiancée Erica Hayes of Asheboro, Lane Miller and wife Molly of Raleigh; great grandsons, Gage Miller of Asheboro and Hank Miller of Raleigh. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Robert Armstrong officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held. Memorials may be made to Brower's Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Clara Lee Maness, 1262 Ingram Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
