Faye Hedgecock Cox

Mrs. Ruby Faye Hedgecock Cox, 81, of Ramseur, NC, died Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Universal Health Care. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Johnny Henderson officiating. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Cox was born October 9, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Rowan Hedgecock and Ollie Esther Farmer Hedgecock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Cox, Sr., and her brothers. Mrs. Cox is survived by son, Frank Cox, of Raleigh, NC, sister, Ruth Foy Jones, of Jamestown, NC, and two grandchildren, Sarah Cox, of Portland, OR, and Jonathan Cox, of East Charleston, VT. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Randolph, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
