Faedene Maness

Faedene Ragsdale Maness, 96, of Asheboro, died Monday, September 14, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Ken McDowell and Neale Kearns officiating. Burial will follow at Brower's Chapel Road Cemetery, Asheboro.

Mrs. Maness was born on February 2, 1930, in Randolph County, NC, and was the daughter of the late Asbury Martin and Bertha Trogdon Ragsdale. She was a graduate of Fayetteville Street School and had retired from Black & Decker. She had also worked at Vestal Ford.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Maness, son, Dale Martin Maness, two brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Maness of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Friday at Ridge Funeral Home, prior to the funeral service
