Fay A. Jordan

Mrs. Fay Marie Auman Jordan, 67, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, June 13, 2014, at Huldah Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Walker, Rev. Wayne VunCannon and Joe Landers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Jordan was born February 10, 1947. She graduated from East Montgomery High School in Biscoe and was also one of the graduates from the first nursing program at Randolph Community College. Mrs. Jordan was employed by the Caregivers of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Bryce Auman and her husband, Sam Jordan. Mrs. Jordan is survived by daughters, Wendy Jordan, of Asheboro, NC, Angela Jordan, of Bolivia, NC, Melody Jordan, of Asheboro, NC, Heather Moore and husband, Ted, of Thomasville, NC; mother, Ferrell Auman, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Jesse Bryce Auman Jr. and wife, Mary, of Servierville, TN, Steven Kelly Auman, of Granite Falls, NC, Larry G. Auman and Sharon, of Southport, NC; granddaughter, Victoria Rose Jordan; step-grandson, Kris Moore, many special nieces and nephews that she considered her grandchildren and beloved canine companion, Ginger. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home.
