Faie Greene Dunn

Mrs. Faie Irene Greene Dunn, 83, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Center Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Copple and Elder Alan R. Caesar officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Dunn was born February 6, 1929. She was the daughter of the late William Lonnie Greene and Cassie Blanche King Greene. She had worked at Tie Rite and she was a member of Center Cross Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dunn; son, William Frank Dunn; sisters, Cora Mae Dunn, Amanda Pickett; and brother, Mack Greene. Mrs. Dunn is survived by son, Donald E. Dunn, of Asheboro; brother, Carl "Bud" Greene and wife, Betty, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Michael Dunn, Angie Montgomery; and great grandchild, Billy C. Davis. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Center Cross Baptist Church and other times at the home.
