Everette Yow

Everett William Yow, 74, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015, at Freedom Life Church with Rev. Ben Chavis officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Moore County, Mr. Yow was born May 1, 1941 to the late Norman and Lucy Yow. He was a truck driver for over 40 years. Mr. Yow loved auto racing, fishing and spending time at the beach. In addition to his parents, Mr. Yow was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Ailene Wilkerson Yow; and brothers, Jesse and Ernest Yow. Survivors include his daughter, Georgia Gail Hollis of Kentucky; son, William Wayne Yow of Asheboro; brother, Coy Yow; grandchildren, Tiffany Jade Givens and Brittany Layne Deibler, both of Kentucky. He is also survived by his extended family, Buddy and Darla Allred, Chelsea Allred, Karis Allred, Shelia Allred Graham, Allen and Kimberly Vance, Mason and Kyerstin Vance, Bobby Blankenship, Michael Leonard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Randolph Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund, 373 N.
