Everette Swaim

Everette Wayne Swaim, 86, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at his home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Alanda Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Swaim was a native of Randolph County, born on February 4, 1935 to the late Jesse Everette Swaim and Bertha Mae Bullins Swaim. He was a loving husband, dad, "paw paw", brother, and friend. He loved fishing, traveling, and camping. In addition to his parents, Everette was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Swaim; and his brother, James Swaim. He is survived by his wife, Genna Faye Swaim of the home; daughters, Lynn Swaim Chaney and husband Bobby of Franklinville, Kelly Swaim Willard and husband John of Trinity; stepdaughter, Sherri Atkins and husband Benny; stepson, Brian Dabbs; brother, Raymond Swaim and wife Wilma of Randleman; sister-in-law, Linda Swaim of Dunn; grandchildren, Matthew Beitzel, Ethan Willard, Christian Chaney, Taren Jackson, Collin Willard, Zack Atkins, Joey Lucas, Matthew Atkins; and great grandchild, Aimsley Lucas. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, prior to the service.
