Everett Lee Cagle

Mr. Everett Lee Cagle, 90, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Litchford Falls Healthcare in Raleigh. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry Reeder officiating. Private burial will be on Monday at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Cagle was born September 21, 1921. He was the son of the late Erastus C. Cagle and Bertha Florence Brown Cagle. Mr. Cagle worked at Bossong Hosiery for 21 years and then retired from Arch Knitting after 22 years of service. He attended Union Grove Christian Church and he served in the US Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cagle was preceded in death by his wife, Neta Gallimore Cagle. Mr. Cagle is survived by daughters, Annette Cagle Davis and husband, Ben, of Fairhope, AL, Vicky Cagle Hill and husband, Stephen, of Morehead City, NC; son, Tony Cagle and wife, Teressa, of Youngsville, NC; sisters, Ann Lewis Cagle Coble, of Asheboro, NC, Betty Cagle Hill and husband, Fred, of Grantville, NC; brothers, Odell Cagle and wife, Nita, of Asheboro, NC, Sam Cagle and wife, Annie, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Jenna Hill, Ryan Hill, Forrest Cagle and Cameron Cagle. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
