Ethel Allred Morgan

Mrs. Ethel Ophelia Freeman Allred Morgan, 89, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Randolph Hospital. A private funeral service is scheduled for family, close friends and neighbors at 12:00 pm Friday, December 10, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Beane officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Surry County, NC, Mrs. Morgan was born January 13, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell Martin Freeman and Bessie Ada Lewis Freeman. She was retired from General Electric and was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Olin W. Allred, and her second husband, Howard Morgan. Mrs. Morgan is survived by daughter, Anne A. Haithcock and husband, Bryce of Franklinville, NC; sisters, Mildred Burgess, of Franklinville, NC, Ivadell Moody, of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Joseph L. Freeman, Louis D. Freeman, both of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Christopher B. Haithcock, Gregory D. Haithcock, both of Franklinville, NC; great grandson, Matthew G. Haithcock, of Franklinville, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday, December 10, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 2867 Cedar Falls Road, Franklinville, NC.
