Esther M. Lynch

Esther M. Lynch, age 98, beloved mother and grandmother, departed this life, Saturday evening, October 18, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on October 17, 1927, in Chatham County, NC, a daughter of the late James Maness and Dossie Williamson Hill.

She was a resident of Randolph County of over 70 years. She was retired from Klopman Mills/Gayley & Lord, with 50 years of service.

Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn Spainhour Cole, joining her and our heavenly Father in a great reunion.

Esther is survived by her three sons, Roger Cagle (Jean) of Denton, Darrell Cagle of Greensboro, Terry Cagle (Karen) of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Janet Pate, Jamie Spainhour, Keith Spainhour, Jerry Spainhour, Waynette Cagle, Domini Cagle, Rodney Cagle, Angie Cagle; ten great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Maness (Carol) of Asheboro. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, with family members officiating.
