Ervin S. Mcneill

Ervin Sherrill McNeill, 79, of Seagrove, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. Officiating will be Rev. Cliff Wilson. Mr. McNeill was born June 2, 1938, in Randolph County. He owned a used car lot and enjoyed making and selling leather goods and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Sue Mercer, of the home; daughters, Alesia Greene of Asheboro, Arielle McNeill of SC, Crystal Carpenter and husband, Adam, of Asheboro; son, Ricky McNeill and wife, Debbie, of Asheboro; sister, Julia Williamson and husband, James, of Sophia; step daughter, Amy Parker and husband, Kevin, of Sneads Ferry; step son, Chuck Mercer and wife, Crystal, of Sneads Ferry; grandchildren, Ashley Goble, Addison McNeill, Jackson Carpenter, Jacob Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Maddox Goble, Hudson Goble; step grandchildren, Cameron Mercer, Caleb Mercer, Jackson Mercer, Sofia Mercer, Cory Parker, and Kayla Parker. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Folkstone Freewill Baptist Church, 133 Old Folkstone Road, Holly Ridge, NC 28445.
