Ernest Geiger

Ernest Howard Geiger, 81, of Asheboro, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, Greensboro. Officiating will be Mr. Charles Reeder. A native of Roanoke, VA., Mr. Geiger was born September 23, 1936, the son of the late Robert and Frances Horton Geiger. He had retired from Sperry Univac Corp., as a computer engineer. Later he ran his own company building and repairing computers for companies and individuals. He loved singing in a Barbershop Chorus. In addition to his parents, Mr. Geiger was preceded in death by 8 aunts and 6 uncles. He is survived by his wife, Pam Geiger, of the home; daughters, Darcy Geiger-Jackson and husband, Curtis, of Creedmoor, Corbi Flynn, of Durham; son, Sean Flynn and wife, Christina, of Remington, VA; step-son, Paul Herbert and family; grandchild, Jacqueline Pheister and husband, Alex; great-grandchild, Jaxon Flynn; and many extended family members. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, Greensboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
