Emory Hill

Mr. Emory Elizah Clarkson Hill, 96, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at Universal Health Care. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, January 17, 2013, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Keene officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Hill was born June 5, 1916. He was the son of the late John Emory Hill and Fannie Brown Hill. He attended school in Asheboro and was employed with Fox Drug and Asheboro Drug for over thirty years. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of thirty four years, Sarah Willette Hill, of the home; sons, John E. "�Wink' Hill and wife, Illawenntte, of Durham, NC, Larry M. Hill, of NJ; daughters, Janet L. Gripper and husband, James, of High Point, NC, Clarice Andrea Cagle and husband, Walter, of Biscoe, NC, and Dorothy F. "�Frankie' Hill, of Clemmons, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
