Eloise Haithcock Smith

Mrs. Eloise Haithcock Smith, 83, of Randleman, NC, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 31, 2014, at Cedar Falls Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Chrisco officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Smith was born August 26, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Huey Gilbert Haithcock and Maddie Ella Poole Haithcock. She was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Choir Member. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, John Junior Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Smith Cox, of Randleman, NC; grandchildren, Sara Rose Cox, Jonathan Dayton, Christopher Dayton; four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home.
