Elizabeth Allen Mccall

Elizabeth Seawell Allen McCall, 71, of Asheboro, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Alpine Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at Whynot Wesleyan Church, Seagrove, with Rev. Darrell Rabon officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Robbins. Born on February 5, 1948, in Moore County, NC, Mrs. McCall was the daughter of Lemuel Dewitt Seawell and Pearl Maness Seawell. She was a member of Whynot Wesleyan Church. Mrs. McCall had worked at Unilever, Malt-0-Meal and as a CNA for Bayada Home Care. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and listening to bluegrass music. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmie P. Allen, John J. McCall; brother, Bert L. Seawell; sister-in-law, Remella Moore Seawell, and brother-in-law, Larry C. Maness. Survivors include her sister, Nancy Maness of Asheboro; brother, Rex Seawell (Kathy) of Sophia; stepson, David Allen (Linda) of Robbins; step grandson, Keary Allen (Suzanne) of Robbins; step great grandchildren, Shelby Allen and Casey Allen of Robbins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, Cynthia, Stanley, Brett, Kim (Cookie Bee), Colt and Nolan; and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to Whynot Wesleyan Church, Cemetery Fund, 1402 NC Hwy 705, Seagrove, NC 27341; or to Pleasant Hill UMC, Cemetery Fund, 1535 N. Moore Road, Robbins, NC 27325. The family would like to thank Carolyn Neely for being a wonderful friend and caregiver to Elizabeth for many years.
