Elizabeth Ann Duda Hamilton, 90, formerly of Randleman, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Landmark Baptist Church, Asheboro, where she was a member, with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Born on February 20, 1931, in Jersey City, NJ, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Samuel Duda and Ida Schmidt Duda. She graduated from Ferris High School in Jersey City, NJ. Elizabeth was a homemaker and later worked in several nursing homes as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie C. Underwood and John F. Hamilton; daughter, Nancy Presnell; grandsons, Jeremy L. Heath and Ezra J. Heath; nephew, Keith A. Underwoodand; and grandnephew, Bradley Schumacher. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda S. Hammond (Walter), Julie A. Heath (Andy); son-in-law, Donnie Presnell; brother, Robert S. Duda (Joyce); grandchildren, Duane R. Warren (Michelle), Tina L. Underwood (Jerry), Holly S. Etheridge, Michelle D. Martin, Danny Health, Chad M. Heath; great grandchildren; Robert L. Warren, Ryan L. Warren, Joshua J. Underwood, Samantha S. Rodreguez, Brandon C. Underwood, Dominick A. Etheridge, Michael T. Etheridge, Landon J. Heath, Haddie E. Heath, Eden Heath, Silas Heath, Aiden T. Heath, Ethan R. Heath; Jessica Boling, Paul Boling; two great-great grandchildren; nieces, Laura Petry (George), Kim Duda, Robin Duda, Stacey Duda; nephews, Matt Duda; grandnephews, Tom Schumacher (Beth), Mike Schumacher, Chris Duda; great grandnephews, Brenden Schumacher, Nathan Schumacher, Conner Schumacher, Alex Schumacher; stepson, Ronald Lee Hamilton (Jayda); step grandson, Ronald Lee Hamilton (Brittany); step great grandchildren, Madison Hamilton, Braden Hamilton; and, sister-in-law, Pat Trotter. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
