Elbia G. Bullins

Mrs. Elbia Graves Bullins, 89, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Carillon Assisted Living. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Bullins was born September 17, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Graves and Lena Bean Graves. She worked for Bossong Hosiery for 25 years and retired from Rampon Products. She attended Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy "Leonard"� Bullins, her sisters, Emily Jane Callicutt, Effie Mae Strider, Pauline Harvell, Mary Jordan, Iona Dennis, Jewel Hill, Carrie Vuncannon, Lena Martha Graves, her brother, George Graves, her grandchildren, Darien Keith Bullins, Jamie Elizabeth Bullins, and her son-in-law, Arthur Staley. Mrs. Bullins is survived by her daughters, Juanita Davis and husband, Ken, of Asheboro, NC, Nancy Staley, of Sophia, NC, Peggy Williamson and husband, Bennie, of Asheboro, NC; son, Troy Edward Bullins, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Chris Davis and wife, Penny, of Siler City, NC, David Davis and wife, Denise, of Randleman, NC, Troy Dale Bullins and wife, Pat, of Asheboro, NC, Melisa Simmons and husband, Michael, of Sophia, NC, Jennifer Staley, of Sophia, NC; great grandchildren, Gavin Davis, Caroline Davis, Hannah Davis, Cody Bullins Essick, Caleb Simmons, Casey Simmons, Jessica Melton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home, 315 Ridge Street, Asheboro, NC.
