Edna Hall Moody

Mrs. Edna Oneida Hall Moody, 92, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, November 5, 2012, at Woodland Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Dwight Ayers and Tom Glass officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Moody was born April 12, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Travis Daniel Hall and Maude Wood Hall. She was a member of Balfour Baptist Church and was retired from Commonwealth Hosiery Mill after 55 years of service at the age of 80. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Moody, and her brothers, Horace Hall, Bob Hall, Bill Hall and John Hall. Mrs. Moody is survived by son, E. John Moody and wife, Betsy, of Alexander City, AL, grandchildren, Scott Moody and wife, Melodye, of Nolensville, TN, Susan Moody Taylor and husband, Jason, of Prattville, AL; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
