Edith Laverne West

Edith Laverne West, 70, of Randleman, NC, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2012, at Freedom Life Church with Rev. Ben Chavis, Pastor Jeff Looney, and Pastor Daniel Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point. A native of Guilford County, NC, Edith was born February 20, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Stanton Alpheus Yarborough and Edith Virginia Yates. She was a member of Freedom Life Church. She is survived by her daughters, Rayella Byrd and husband, Daniel, of Randleman, NC, Donnet Frank and husband, Freddie, of Sophia, NC, Crystal Holdaway and husband, Perry, of Trinity, NC; son, Ray Boileau, Jr., of Randleman, NC; step son, Donnie King; guided child, Tammy Shady; sisters, Marion Varner, of Archdale, NC, Joann Fitzgerald, of Thomasville, NC, Sharon Huffman, of Archdale, NC; brothers, Edward Yarborough, of Seagrove, NC, Elbert C. "Buddy"� Yarborough, of Lumberton, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Frank, Kelly Morefield, Holly Heffernan, Michael Foster, Bethanie Lamb, Courtney Byrd, Wyatt Byrd, Acie Boileau Scales, Jeremy Boileau; step granddaughter, Kylee King; and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2012, at Freedom Life Church.
