Edel Zadlo

Edeltraut Höhle Zadlo, 87, of Asheboro, died Thursday morning, August 6, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1928 in Fürstenhagen, Germany. She was a daughter of the late Hermann and Erna Höhle. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Monday at 8:15 a.m. Edel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a woman who lived her faith in God every moment of every day. She dedicated her life to her late husband of 52 years, Richard S. Zadlo and her children and grandchildren. Edel was a tremendous blessing to her family, friends and all who crossed her path of life. Edel is survived by her children, Christina Zadlo Meadows, of Wilsonville, Oregon, Rosemarie and husband, Reid Lawrence, of Asheboro, Richard "Butch" Zadlo and Amanda Winebarger , of Fleetwood, and Heidi and Callion Maddox , of Raleigh. Her grandchildren are Annaliese and Patrick Lawrence, of Asheboro, Bradley Zadlo, of Fleetwood, and Jacob Hicks, of Sugar Grove.
