Earnest "Gene" Eugene Routh, 83, of Denton, died Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church, Randleman, with Pastor Landon Flinchum and Pastor Ralph Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Denton. The family will receive friends from 1:45 - 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, at the church prior to the service.
