Earl Hobson

Mr. Thomas Earl Hobson, 48, of Star, NC, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, December 16, 2011, at Balfour Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Chatham County, NC, Mr. Hobson was born March 26, 1963. Mr. Hobson was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Howard Hobson. Mr. Hobson lived in Randolph County most of his life and worked at Sara Lee. Mr. Hobson is survived by daughters, Lisa Hobson Bailey, of Asheboro, NC, Dana Marie Chavis Odom, of Rockingham, NC; son, Thomas Andrew Hobson, of Asheboro, NC; mother, Mary Hobson, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Mary Ann Hobson, of Asheboro, NC, Mamie Marie Hobson Fogleman, and husband, Keith, of Randleman, NC; brother, Phillip Howard Hobson, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Victoria Carol Bailey, Ariel Nicole Bailey, Taylor Lynn Bailey; girlfriend, Vicky Williamson; and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, Mary Hobson.
