After a long hard fight with cancer, Richard Dwight "Cowboy" Brower, 62, of Asheboro, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at God's Outreach Ministry Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Brower was born November 3, 1953, the son of Barbara Brower of Asheboro, NC and the late Richard D. Brower. He is a retired carpenter with a love for motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren, family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Tonya A. Brower. In addition to his mother he is survived by his partner in life, Judy Brower of the home; daughters, Tabatha B. Collier (Charlie) of Killen, AL, Jennifer Ramos of Asheboro and Logan Morgan of High Point; son, Christopher Shane Brower (Keysha) of Asheboro; sisters, Joyce Brower of Asheboro, Janet Lare (Harry) and Theresa Cline (Johnny), all of Seagrove; brother, Dale Brower of Asheboro; grandchildren, Talie, Savanah, Abby, Paisley and Caden, all of Asheboro, Christian of Troy, Blake, Bryant and Travis, all of Alabama, Christian, Andres, Yazmine and Romeo, all of High Point; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Hospice of Randolph County, and Dr. Pahmeyer of Pinehurst for the care given to Mr. Brower.
