Dorothy Heddle White

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Heddle White, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Randolph Hospital. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Word of Life Foursquare Church in Greensboro, with Rev. Albert Johnson officiating. A native of Richmond Co. County, NY, Mrs. White was born March 11, 1932. She was the daughter of the late William Heddle and Prudence Eliza Carver Heddle. She attended Living Word Foursquare Church in Asheboro. She raised seven children, loved to sing, and was affectionately known as "Momma Dot"�. She had worked at Kmart and she loved her job and the people there. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles White, Sr., and her son, William Charles White, Jr. Mrs. White is survived by daughters, Dorothy Leonard, of Asheboro, NC, Linda Lynthacum, of Troy, NC, Tina Hill, of Sophia, NC, Darlene Berner, of Moweaqua, IL, Carol Arney, of Geneseo, NY, Ruth Johnson, of Burlington, NC; sisters, Joan Gignac, Lillian Heddle, June Applegate; 27 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
