Dorothy Ridge

Dorothy Mae "Dot" Winslow Ridge, 83, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2016, at Oakhurst Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Born November 30, 1932 in Randolph County, Mrs. Ridge was the daughter of the late James and Hazel Winslow. She was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church, a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was also on the prayer ministry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ridge was preceded in death by her husband, George "Buck" Ridge; and a brother, Darrell Winslow. She is survived by her daughters, Debra R. Nardali of Asheboro and Jan R. Bullins of Ramseur; grandchildren, Ron King, Lane King, Page Speagle, Pallie Nardali, Jason Stephens; and great-grandchildren, Kersten King, Sydney King, Morgan Howell, Amelia King, Colin King, Cheyanne Speagle and Wyatt Speagle.
