Dorothy Latham

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Griggs "Dot" Latham, 82, of Randleman, NC, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Latham was born January 19, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Ben Griggs and Clara Belle Presnell Griggs. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Joyce and Louise and her infant brother. Mrs. Latham is survived by her husband, James Latham, of Randleman NC; daughter, Carol Savchak and husband, Gene, of Randleman, NC; grandchildren, John Savchak,of Mebane, NC, and Elisha Savchak, of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
