Dorothy Medlin Flowers

Mrs. Dorothy Ethel Medlin Flowers, 85, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, July 25, 2011, at Russell's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Fonner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Richland County, SC, Mrs. Flowers was born November 6, 1925. She was the daughter of the late James Walter Medlin and Katie Ethel Norris Medlin. Mrs. Flowers was retired from Becky's of Asheboro. She was a member of Russell's Grove Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Flowers.
