Dorothy 'Dot' Clary

Dorothy Jane "Dot" Clary, 84, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph Co., Mrs. Clary was born May 15, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and Flora Beane Tysinger. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and watching car racing. She had worked for Blue Bell and later at High Point College. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clary was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Edward Clary. Mrs. Clary is survived by her daughter, Kay Register, of Randleman; son, Darrell Jackson and wife, Judy, of Randleman; grandchildren, Joshua Jackson and wife, Jamey, Luke Jackson and wife, Jessica, Creath Brown and husband, Adam, Danny Register and wife, Sarah, Jeff Register and wife, Jessica; 12 great grandchildren; and many special nephews and nieces including Clara Thomas and Nancy Stallings and husband, Harold. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home.
