Doris Richardson

Doris Faye Richardson, 80, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dale Kennedy and Rev. Don Ashley, Jr. officiating. A native of Randolph County born on June 20, 1937, Miss Richardson was the daughter of the late Bethel Lacy and Carnie Beane Richardson. She was a member of First E & R United Church of Christ and she was also a member at Liberty Road Baptist Church. Miss Richardson enjoyed volunteering at the CUOC and the Salt Box. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret; and brothers, Blythe and Bill. Survivors include her sisters, Diane Richardson (Mike Williams) of Asheboro and Janet Miller (Frank) of New London; brother, David Richardson of N. Topsail Beach; sisters-in-law, Mary Richardson and Janice Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
