Doris C. Keeling

Mrs. Doris Ann Odom Crotts Keeling, 64, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Sunset Avenue Church of God, where she was a member, with Rev. Boyd Byerly and Rev. Earl Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Keeling was born January 29, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Carlie Carson Odom and Verlie Mable Yow Chriscoe Odom. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keeling was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Odom, Wesley Odom and Norman Chriscoe. Mrs. Keeling is survived by her husband, Bobby Nolan Keeling, of the home; daughters, Elizabeth C. Barnes, of Asheboro, NC, Anna M. Gauldin, of Black Ankle, NC; step-daughter, Jolene Keeling, of Ramseur, NC; sons, Tony Manring, of TN, Bruce Crotts, of Asheboro, NC; step-son, Jeremy Keeling, of VA; sisters, Vera C. Beane, Mary C. Black, both of Randleman, NC, Viola C. Shelton, of Cedar Falls, NC, Susie C. Singleton, of Star, NC; brothers, Thurman Chriscoe, of Seagrove, NC, James Chriscoe, of Cedar Falls, NC, Glenn Chriscoe, of Randleman, NC; 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her Aunt Jo, of Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 "� 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
