Doris Hayes

Mrs. Doris Marie Foster Hayes, 80, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Hayes was born December 2, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Albert Curtis Foster and Treva Mae Hooker Foster. She was a member of Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Technimark, Inc. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wattie Hayes. Mrs. Hayes is survived by step-daughters, Deborah Vanderford and husband, William, of Asheboro, NC, Wanda Butler and husband, Danny, of Belews Creek, NC; step-son, Sonny Hayes and wife, Peggy, of Asheboro, NC, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
