Donnie Kearns

Mr. Donald "Donnie"� Wayne Kearns, 63, of Seagrove, NC, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, July 23, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Shook officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Kearns was born August 27, 1948. He was the son of the late Willie Wayne Kearns and Leona Mae Davis Kearns. Mr. Kearns worked at J.P Stevens. He loved older trucks, cars and dune buggies. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kearns was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Lee Hornaday and his son-in-law, Mark Glenn Carter. Mr. Kearns is survived by his wife, Maggie Kearns, of the home; daughters, Donna Y. Carter, of Randleman, NC, Jane Renee Spivey and husband, Chris, of Asheboro, NC, Denise Smith and husband, Keith, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Colleen Allen, of New London, NC, Lillie Carolyn Lawson, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Roy T. "Tommy" Kearns, of Asheboro, NC, Willie W. Kearns; grandchildren, Joshua Carter, Christian "Bubba"� Carter, Alisha Carter, Travis Spivey, Kevin Spivey, Haley Spivey, Brittany Hilliard, Ryan Smith; and great grandchild Serenity I. Spivey. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Randolph, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
