Donna Stickler Cole

Donna Marie Stickler Cole, 80, of Asheboro, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Monday, January 5, 2015, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Shawn Race officiating. She was born in Tioga County, PA on July 19, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Liston Stickler and Irene Lucie Smith Stickler. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Asheboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Cole and son, D. John Cole. Surviving are daughters, Sandra C. Thrasher, of Brandon, FL, Jane Brueilly and husband, Steve, of Asheboro, Julie C. Wall and Jennifer C. Staley, both of Asheboro; brother, Byron Stickler and wife, Wilda, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Christin T. Bolden, Tyler Brueilly and fiancee, Megan Hanes, Austin Rich; and great grandchild, Trevor F. Bolden. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Monday, January 5, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home.
