Donald Hundley

Donald Wayne Hundley, 67, of Asheboro, died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born June 9, 1949 in Rockingham County, Mr. Hundley was the son of the late Cyrus and Maude Hundley. He grew up as a tobacco farmer and later retired from Luck's Beans. As a young man, Mr. Hundley was a avid ball player. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and a beloved father and brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers. Mr. Hundley is survived by his daughter, Deanna Hundley of Southern Pines; sons, Donathan Hundley (Crystal Luck) of Sophia, Jonathan Hundley (Aimee Faucher) of Foxfire, NC; sister, Margaret Ann Neal of High Falls; brothers, Kenneth Hundley of Seagrove and Michael Hundley of Louisville, KY; and ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
