Donald Grove

Donald Thomas Grove, 49, of Seagrove, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Lamb and Rev. Wayne Rouse officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Grove was born October 1, 1966 in Paris, France. He loved the outdoors, helping people and most of all his family. There was special place in his heart for all his grandchildren and his canine companion, Ellie. Mr. Grove was preceded in death by his father, Harold Thomas Grove; and his grandfather, Henry "Pop" Beane. Survivors include his wife, Norene Hunter Grove of the home; sons, Robbie Booth and wife, Kimberly, of Asheboro, Jacob Helms of Franklinville, Nathan Helms and wife Megan, of Seagrove, Shawn McMurray of Charlotte; mother, Alice Grove of Franklinville;, sister, Nora Grove Frazier of Franklinville; grandmother, Vera Beane of Randleman;,grandchildren, Jacob Murphy, Kasey Helms, Natalie Booth, Grayson Booth and Hunter Helms. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
